This tool reads the text of a photo or screenshot: a till receipt to copy into an expense report, an invoice, a letter, an article. It accepts JPG, PNG and WebP images, one or several at a time; with several images, the texts follow one another, each preceded by its file name. The “Receipt, invoice, table” type keeps each printed line on one line and separates the columns with tabs; the “Letter, article” type follows the reading order, paragraph by paragraph. The result is plain text, without formatting, ready to correct, copy, download as .txt or open in “Document”. For a scanned PDF, “OCR: make a PDF searchable” keeps the document's appearance. The reading happens on your device.
