- Are my files sent to a server?
- No. Your files are opened and processed in your browser, on your device: they are sent neither to ElniDocs nor to anyone else. You can check this by going offline once the page has loaded.
- Does ElniDocs work offline?
- Yes. Once the site has loaded, the tools keep working without a connection. You can also install ElniDocs as an app from your browser.
- Which file formats can I open?
- Word documents (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), OpenDocument (.ods) and CSV workbooks, PowerPoint presentations (.pptx), PDFs and common images (JPG, PNG, WebP…). The viewer also reads text, ZIP archives and emails.
- Do I need an account?
- No. There is no sign-up and no account: you open the page and get to work. Your recent documents are kept in your browser's storage, on this device only.
