This tool adds page numbers to a PDF: a dissertation, a set of documents to print, exhibits to be cited by page number. Choose the format (“1”, “Page 1”, “1 / 12” or “Page 1 of 12”), one of the six positions at the top or bottom of the page, the size and the first number, and you can leave the cover page unnumbered. A preview shows the result before saving. The numbers are written in grey into the page content, and placed correctly on rotated pages. Several PDFs can be numbered together, with the same settings: they are then delivered in a ZIP. Roman numerals are not offered. The numbering happens in your browser.
