This tool recovers the content of a PDF into an editable Word document (.docx), so you can rework a report, a contract or a letter whose original file you no longer have. The text is rebuilt into paragraphs, headings and lists; tables and images are put back in reading order, and repeated headers and footers are left out. The layout is simplified, especially with columns or overlapping elements, and the text keeps neither its font, nor its bold, nor its colour. A scanned PDF, with no text, must first go through “OCR: make a PDF searchable”. The document can be downloaded or opened in the “Document” editor. The conversion happens in your browser.
