Is the layout kept?
The pages are laid out as in the document, on the paper size set in the file; check the preview before saving.
Are the fonts respected?
Yes, when your device has them; otherwise a free font with the same dimensions is used (Calibri, Cambria, Arial, Times New Roman…).
Can I convert an old .doc file?
Not yet: open it in your word processor and save it as .docx.
Are my files sent to a server?
No. Everything is processed in your browser, on your device: no file is sent anywhere, neither to ElniDocs nor to anyone else. You can check this by going offline once the page has loaded: the tool keeps working.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It is free, with no sign-up, no adverts and no watermark added to your files. The only limit is your device's memory (up to 500 MB per file).
