In short
This tool displays and edits a PDF's properties: title, author, subject, keywords, creating application, PDF producer, creation and modification dates, and the extra information that some software adds. The title is the one that PDF readers and search engines display. The “Clear all” button empties every field in one go. When saving, the file is rewritten so that the old values do not remain hidden in it, and the XMP block that duplicated them is removed; the page content does not change. An edited PDF/A is no longer recognised as compliant. The tool handles one PDF at a time; for photos or Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, use “Remove metadata”. The file never leaves your browser.
